Margin · demo

Onboarding asks which themes you’re drawn to — grief, love, wonder — and builds your reading from there.

An iOS/Android app that meets you with real writing — poems, quotes, letters and affirmations, chosen by theme and mood, one at a time on a reading-first canvas.

Most affirmation apps hand you wallpaper text. Margin starts from the opposite bet: that what actually helps on a hard day is real writing — Dickinson when grief is the theme, a sourced letter that witnesses rather than fixes.

Onboarding asks what you are drawn to (grief, love, wonder, becoming…) rather than what is wrong with you, and a gentle mood check-in — heavy, hollow, tender, adrift — narrows what the day shows you. Each piece arrives alone on a quiet, book-like canvas, in one of four colour-coded voices: Mirror, Poet, Philosopher, Thinker. Every quote is sourced and dated; nothing is invented.

The selection logic — no-repeat windows, mood mapping, swipe caps — is written as pure, tested code so the app never repeats itself at the wrong moment. In progress, heading for the app stores.
